Where I am
I am based in Kippen in the beautiful countryside of Stirling. Many of my landscapes are inspired by the local views.I love strong colours and contrasts and fortunately the scenery heere provides me with endless opportunities to paint my favourites- snow, mountains and dramatic skies.

Commissions info
I am happy to take commissions. I particularly love portraiture and the challenge of capturing personality as well as likeness. I also enjoy painting animals and landscapes. My commissions have included-ski racing, Antarctica, family portraits, horses, houses and commercial work for a property developer. If possiblel I like to sketch from life and to photograph myself but often it is only practical to work from photographs provided.
